When John Stanley and his family arrived in Fairview, they saw more than beautiful neighborhoods and open spaces. They saw a community where families could thrive, neighbors still mattered, and the future was worth investing in. Since calling Texas home in 2011, John has built his life around solving complex infrastructure and community challenges, and he now hopes to help build a strong and lasting future for the town his family hopes to call home for generations.
John is a licensed civil engineer with nearly 20 years of experience in infrastructure, transportation, and municipal-related projects throughout North Texas. He earned his master’s degree in transportation engineering from Louisiana State University, where research from his graduate thesis was later published. He is also a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. His background in engineering, planning, and servant leadership continues to shape his practical approach to public service and community leadership.
Today, John and his wife are small business owners and real estate investors who manage residential properties and remain actively involved in the community. John has served on Fairview’s Technology Advisory Board and has been involved in local PTA leadership, working alongside parents, teachers, and school staff to support students and strengthen community engagement.
John and his wife are raising their children in Fairview and are committed to preserving the town’s character while planning thoughtfully for the future. He values transparency, respectful dialogue, and collaborative leadership that puts residents first.
