The Path to Unity
$25,000 Community Grant
Path to Unity is beginning with four $25,000 grants for schools, churches, nonprofits, and eligible community organizations. Each selected organization will receive the full $25,000 to launch or expand a practical program that addresses a clear community need.
Four initial grants. $100,000 committed by founder Robert Liva.
More Than a One-Time Grant
Supporting Memberships purchased directly through Path to Unity follow the 50/25/25 model. Fifty percent goes to Member-Directed Community Funding, 25% goes to the Future Grant Fund, and 25% goes to PTU Operations.
Each time the Future Grant Fund reaches $25,000, another $25,000 Community Grant can be created. Members who choose a higher recurring amount help the fund grow faster.
The grant starts the program.
The membership campaign helps sustain it.
Member-Directed Community Funding
This gives verified members a voice in choosing which eligible community programs and proposals receive funding.
Community Partner Revenue
This ongoing support helps the organization sustain its work, strengthen its programs, and continue serving its community.
PTU Operations
This ongoing support helps the organization sustain its work, strengthen its programs, and continue serving its community.
Supporting Memberships start at $25 per month or $300 per year. Members may choose a higher amount, and the same percentages apply.
How Applications Will Be Evaluated
Path to Unity will evaluate eligible applications based on:
- A clear community need and potential impact
- A practical, achievable program plan
- Clear and responsible use of the full $25,000 grant
- Ability to engage community supporters
- Commitment to transparency and reporting
Anyone with a personal, family, business, or financial relationship to an applicant will be excluded from reviewing that application.
How Future Grants Grow
Supporting Memberships purchased directly through Path to Unity follow the 50/25/25 model. Fifty percent goes to Member-Directed Community Funding, 25% goes to the Future Grant Fund, and 25% goes to PTU Operations.
At $300 per year, 334 Supporting Members generate $100,200 in annual Supporting Membership revenue. Twenty-five percent, or $25,050, goes to the Future Grant Fund. That is enough to create another full $25,000 Community Grant. Members who choose a higher amount help the fund grow faster.
