Councilmember Watters currently sits as a Board Member of the Jubilee of Cultures (co-founder) and the Coalition of Filipino American Chambers of Commerce (COFACC). She was recently State President of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Texas.

Rowena was voted Chamber President of the Year in 2023 by the Coalition of Filipino American Chambers of Commerce, a national organization consisting of over 40 Filipino American chambers in the United States.

She was recognized as one of the “Top 25 Women of Dallas in 2016” by the Steed Society Female Success Factor.

She was awarded “Member of the Year” in 2016 by the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce, and MVP in 2019 by the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce Texas.
