To all the readers, I would like to introduce myself to the residents of Oak Point. I am Resident of Oak Point for 4 years, previously resident of Little Elm for 14 years. I found Oak Point, Emerald Sound to be more outdoors and offering more acreage for family living with a country flair. My family and I enjoy the great outdoors to include boating, hunting, fishing and hiking.

I have been a servant for Denton County since 2008 in the capacity of Veteran Service Officer. As the Veteran Service Officer, my objective is to serve the Veterans and their Dependents to obtain the benefits afforded them via the Federal and State Government.

As a newly selected City Council Member, my goal is to represent the citizens of Oak Point and their desire to keep Oak Point great! My desire to serve on City Council comes from my position on the Home Rule Charter Commission. Working on the charter was a blessing and provided insight to the issues our great city faces. Working to provide the very best charter took a solid year of work and it was fulfilling to see the product finished and voted in during the November 2022 election.

As a City Council Member, I will represent the majority voice of the community to be a servant of the City. My focus is safety, our schools, and the commercial and residential growth of our great city.

I served our County for 25 years in the military, 15 years in Denton County, now it is time to serve Oak Point. I hope to meet all concerned citizens of Oak Point and hear your concerns.
