Mariana Gómez returns to Otis Brown Elementary as Principal in her 19th year with Irving ISD—a full-circle moment that began at Brown as a third-grade bilingual teacher. Her experience spans teaching multiple grade levels, Special Education, instructional coaching, and leadership roles as Assistant Principal at Thomas Haley and AS Johnston Elementary Schools.
Known for building collaborative, student-centered learning communities, Gómez champions equity, academic rigor, and whole-child support. She holds a master’s in educational administration from Concordia University Texas and a bachelor’s in international business and Spanish from the University of Texas at Arlington, along with multiple teaching and leadership certifications.
