Addison Russ will return to Lancaster ISD as principal of Barack and Michelle Obama 9th Grade Campus. Russ currently serves as Haltom High School’s assistant principal in Birdville ISD. Before that, he served as assistant principal of Lancaster High School for 11 years and developed school-wide systems to help facilitate the flow of instruction and discipline. He also exercised collaborative leadership, strategic planning, and educator empowerment. In addition, he also developed an enrichment program for students transitioning from middle to high school that produced increases in Algebra 1 and English 1 End of Course (EOC) results.
