Vidal Quintanilla is a Mexican American and native-born Texan from the Rio Grande Valley. He grew up in Palmview and moved to North Texas after receiving a promotion at his company. Since 2017, he has proudly called the City of Plano home.
Education and Experience
Currently, Vidal serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Access Healthcare. In this role, he leads and manages the U.S. people strategy and function, collaborates with the mergers and acquisitions team to conduct organizational research and due diligence, and oversees the integration of acquired companies.
As an active community member, Vidal has served as a commissioner on the City of Plano Community Relations Commission and is currently a member of the Hopes Door New Beginning Center Young Professionals Committee. He is also part of the North Texas Disability Chamber, the Plano Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (PCPAAA), and the Plano Fire-Rescue Associates (PRFA). Additionally, Vidal is a graduate of Leadership Plano and the Plano Citizens Government Academy. He actively volunteers with various non-profits, including the North Texas Food Bank, Local Good Center, and Hope Restored Missions.
Vidal holds a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in Human Resources from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Texas A&M University.
