Councilmember Henderson and her husband, John, have been residents of Corinth since 2007. She is a member of Thousand Hills Church and is the community/charity liaison for the Oakmont Women’s Club. Mrs. Henderson serves as a mentor through Communities In Schools North Texas and the Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce President.

Along with her current service as a City Council Member, Mrs. Henderson serves as a board member of the Crime Control and Prevention District, the Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Services District, and the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 3 (TIRZ No. 3). She has served as a board member for the Corinth Economic Development Corporation, the Board of Governors for Oakmont, the Board of Directors for Boys and Girls Club North Texas, the Board of Directors for Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors for Friends of the Family, and was a Founding member of the Christian Community Action Charity League.
