On Monday, July 14, 2025, the CISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved Mrs. Tiffany Britton as the Principal of NeSmith Elementary School.

Mrs. Britton joins Brave Nation after serving as the Associate Principal of a campus in Greenville ISD. She previously worked as an Assistant Principal of Urban Park Elementary, as a campus instructional coach, and as an educator in Dallas ISD. She has over 11 years of experience in education.

Mrs. Britton holds a Masters of Educational Leadership from the University of Texas – Tyler, and a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Texas Permian Basin.
