Terrance Johnson, a Dallas, Texas, native, is a Woodrow Wilson High School alumnus. He enrolled in Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2004, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in English. In 2013, Mr. Johnson relocated to Collin County to help launch a faith-based youth organization. As a mentor, he fostered community collaboration and volunteer opportunities, leading to several leadership roles within the community.
In 2021, Mr. Johnson was appointed to the Princeton Economic Development Corporation (PEDC), where he later assumed the role of Board Chair, becoming the organization’s first African American chairman. Furthermore, he is a proud graduate of the Leadership McKinney Class of 2023, a program offered by the McKinney Chamber of Commerce
Mr. Johnson is married to Yasma Johnson (a Texas A&M–Commerce alumna), and together they are raising two lovely daughters who attend school in Princeton, Texas
