Our district not only provides exceptional educational opportunities and nurtures students into well-rounded, compassionate individuals but also fosters a district-wide climate that supports teacher retention. We have created an environment that parents, teachers, and administrators can truly be proud of and I’m incredibly thankful for the part I get to play in this community.”

What is your favorite part about being a school board member?
My favorite part of serving as a board member is celebrating the successes of our students and staff. Whether in academics or extracurricular activities, seeing them thrive and shine reminds us why we do what we do—it’s all about supporting and empowering their achievements.

Why did you run for school board?
As a long-time volunteer in our school district, I was ready to take the next step as a trustee. I care deeply about each student’s potential and want to contribute to their success. As a trustee, I aim to strengthen the bond between our district and its caregivers, students, and stakeholders. I believe in public education as the great equalizer and want to ensure every child in Wylie has the opportunity to achieve greatness in their own way.
