Stanley Jaglowski has been proudly serving his community on Lancaster’s City Council
since 2011. His focus and committed involvement has led to many recognized and
notable successes for himself and the City of Lancaster.
Stanley continues to work on his Certified Municipal Officer (CMO) designation from the
Texas Municipal League (TML) since 2015. This designation, held by less than 100
other Texas elected officials, is awarded to officials who commit time on enhancing
their knowledge of governance roles and the city government through a variety of
educational opportunities. In 2019, Stanley achieved the “Award of Excellence” from
TML for completing five continuous years of CMO status, bringing state wide attention
and recognition to the City of Lancaster.
Stanley has served in various capacities across several boards and committees over
the years. In 2015, Stanley was appointed to serve on Lancaster’s Tax Increment
Financing Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) Board of Directors. In 2016, he served on the
Appointment Committee for the Texas Association of Mayors, Council Members, and
Commissioners. Stanley served on the TML Resolutions Committee in October of 2018
and the TML Legislative Committee in August, 2018, 2020. and 2022. Since 2019, he
has been serving on the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) for
Dallas College and the Veterinary Technology Program. In November of 2020, Stanley
was appointed by TML to chair the subcommittee on Broadband, which was derived
from the TML Municipal Policy Summit.
Stanley was elected to serve as Secretary of TML Region 13 in September, 2019, and
was elected Vice President in February, 2021. He also had the opportunity to
representTML Region 13 on the newly formed TML ERCOT Advisory Committee in
June, 2021.
