“”I am proud to serve as a Wylie ISD Board member, because I am proud of our Wylie ISD family and am proud of The Wylie Way. While it’s important to ensure all our students are given excellent educational opportunities, it is even more important they grow to be good people who contribute much and make a difference in the world around them. I love that we focus on Respect & Responsibility, Caring & Giving, Preparation & Grit, and Celebration & Gratitude.””
What is your favorite part about being a school board member?
One of my favorite parts about being a school board member is watching our students find their passion and celebrating their successes. Whether it’s academics, sports, fine arts, clubs, FFA, leadership opportunities, or other interests, I love watching them believe, grow and thrive.
Why did you run for school board?
I believe all children deserve a great education and the opportunities education provides for a successful and contributing future. I ran to be a voice and advocate for all students, for our teachers, and for families and taxpayers.
