It is with great pride and excitement that I serve as your principal. I have had the privilege of serving Handley as one of the assistant principals for the past three years and it has been one of the best experiences in my educational career. I am honored to continue the work of serving Handley’s scholars, staff, and community.

My educational journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and Masters in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas. This is my 20th year in education and I have served them all in the Garland Independent School District. My educational career consists of a classroom teacher at Freeman Elementary, Instructional Support Teacher, Instructional Design Facilitator, and Assistant Principal at Lister Elementary and Handley Elementary.

Great things continue to happen at Handley and it is an extreme honor to continue the work of transforming lives today, for a successful tomorrow.
