On Monday, June 17, 2024, Mr. Robert Goff was named the Principal of Community High School after serving two years as the Principal of Leland Edge Middle School, which he took over on May 16, 2022 after being approved by the CISD Board of Trustees.

Mr. Goff is a 15-year veteran of education with experience as a campus administrator, teacher, and coach. Before returning to Community ISD for the 2022-23 school year, Mr. Goff has served for one year as an assistant principal of Coppell ISD’s Freshman Campus. Before coming to Coppell, Mr. Goff served three years as an assistant principal of Sherman High School. He worked as a teacher in Plano ISD from 2012 to 2018, and began his teaching career right here in Brave Nation in 2010.

Goff holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Texas A&M-Kingsville and a Master’s of Education from Stephen F. Austin. He holds Advanced Leadership, T-TESS, Life Science, Composite Science, and Physical Education certificates. He is married and has four children.
