After serving on the Euless City Council from 2007 to 2018, Perry Bynum returned to the City Council as Place 4 Council Member in 2019.
Perry is a retired Fire Chief, Emergency Management Coordinator and Emergency Medical Services Coordinator for the City of Haltom City. Throughout his municipal career, Perry positively impacted the North Texas region through his involvement with the North Central Texas Council of Governments, and continues his service by representing Tarrant County cities with a population of 50,000 to 79,999 as a member of the Emergency Preparedness Planning Council (EPPC). Perry also represents the City Council as a member of the Euless Crime Control and Prevention District.
Prior to his service as a Council Member, Perry served as a member of the Euless Planning and Zoning Commission, the Zoning Board of Adjustment and the Euless Citizens Corps Council. He has also served as the Commissioner for the Euless Athletic Association, as well as the President of the Trinity High School Baseball Booster Club.
Both Perry and his wife Lisa grew up in Euless. They have two wonderful children, Josh and Lacey, and three grandchildren. Perry enjoys baseball, golf and spending time with his family.
