Patrick Hellman is a dedicated educator with over a decade of experience working to create opportunities for students, teachers, and communities. His journey in education has included roles as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal, giving him a deep understanding of the challenges and rewards of supporting schools. Guided by a commitment to equity and innovation, he has worked alongside teams to improve underperforming schools, strengthen student outcomes, and create supportive environments for learning and growth.

Returning to the Jill Stone community in the heart of Vickery Meadow—a neighborhood celebrated for its resilience, diversity, and cultural richness-is a source of great pride and purpose for Hellman. He recognizes the community’s unique strengths and challenges and is committed to working collaboratively with teachers, families, and local partners to help Jill Stone Elementary thrive. With experience in leading turnaround efforts in high-need schools, he believes in the power of collective effort to create lasting, positive change.

Throughout his career, Patrick has been fortunate to support initiatives that improved teaching practices, raised student achievement, and enhanced school performance, always emphasizing teamwork and shared responsibility. At Jill Stone, he is excited to focus on nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among students while strengthening family and community engagement. With a Master’s in Urban Educational Leadership and a data-informed approach, he strives to create an environment where every student is empowered, every teacher is supported, and every family feels valued.
