Dr. Keener is a proud native of Fort Worth and product of the FWISD school system. She received a Bachelor‘s Degree in Human Learning from Texas Wesleyan University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Mrs. Keener began her official teaching career at Glen Park Elementary and taught for six years in grades 3rd through 5th. She served as a Learning Network Specialist for two years and as an Instructional Campus Coach at Diamond Hill Elementary for a year. Prior to becoming the Principal of C.C. Moss, Mrs. Keener was an Assistant Principal at Cesar Chavez Elementary.

Mrs. Keener believes that all students are capable of growth and deserve a rich, engaging, and equitable learning experience. Her passion is in providing an educational experience that promotes problem solving, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. Mrs. Keener’s vision is to provide each student with the foundation needed to build upon in order to become productive citizens who will make meaningful contributions to the community.
