Ms. Olga Bernal is a proud graduate of Fort Worth ISD. After completing her studies at Arlington Heights High School, she pursued higher education at Texas A&M University, Whoop! Upon returning to Fort Worth, Ms. Bernal began her career in education as a Teacher Assistant at Morningside Elementary School.

Following the attainment of her teaching certification, Ms. Bernal dedicated ten years to teaching at Morningside Elementary, where she led Spanish Immersion and Dual Language classes across Kindergarten, as well as 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. Her commitment to education extended internationally when she taught 2nd grade in Panajachel, Guatemala, while simultaneously pursuing her graduate studies at Texas Wesleyan University. She holds Master’s degrees in Education Administration and in Second Language Education and Culture.

After a decade at Morningside, Ms. Bernal continued her professional journey at T.A. Sims Elementary School, serving as a Data Analyst and Assistant Principal for five years. She has since returned to Morningside Elementary, where she continues to support and inspire students as part of the “Rams on the Rise” community.
