Nuzhat Hye has proudly served as an Irving ISD Board Trustee for seven years, currently in her third term. With over 45 years of experience in education, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Throughout her distinguished career, Hye has held various positions, including teacher, principal, Head of School and founder of several educational institutions – all with the goal of enhancing student success.
Since 1989, Hye and her husband have been actively engaged in the Irving community, contributing their time and talents to a variety of initiatives. As a mother of five and grandmother to 11, she understands the importance of nurturing the next generation and is deeply committed to creating a supportive and enriching educational environment for all students.
Hye’s dedication to collaboration is evident in her work with parents, teachers, school leaders and community members. She believes in the transformative power of education and works tirelessly to ensure that every student has the resources and support necessary to thrive. Her unwavering passion for education and community engagement continues to make a positive impact on the lives of students in Irving.
