Dr. Nancy Atkinson is from Navasota, TX, and is thrilled to return for her third year at Keyes. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UTA and has earned a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from WGU. Ms. Atkinson furthered her academic journey by completing her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech in August 2024.

Her educational career began in Irving ISD as a paraprofessional at Crocket Middle School. She has held various roles, including math teacher, inclusion teacher, family behavior specialist, and assistant principal. Outside of school, Mrs. Atkinson enjoys spending time with her family and her beloved four-legged companion, Tito.
