Welcome to the website for Prestonwood Elementary! My name is Misti Lehman, Principal of Prestonwood Elementary. It is an honor to get to serve and lead this amazing campus filled with great educators and diverse and inquisitive students. My main focuses at PWE are safety, knowing our students, and ensuring high quality instruction for all. I love to greet students in the mornings, visit with them at lunch, and drop into their classes. It is truly a privilege to visit classrooms and witness the incredible things our students and teachers are doing daily, to share in the joys of student growth, and support the social and emotional development of our students. My goal is to play an active role in planning and supporting instruction by monitoring resources, time, and instructional practices to ensure that all students demonstrate academic growth. We have a great school community where students experience a safe, caring, and challenging environment. Our staff is diverse with a range of experiences to help connect and build relationships with all students, parents, and community members in order to promote overall student growth in academics and character.
