Dr. Guerra is the Principal of William James Middle School.  She brings 25 years of experience as the former Assistant Principal of North Side High School and Paschal High School. Principal Guerra joined Fort Worth ISD in 1999 as an administrative assistant.

From there, she became a Reading and AVID teacher.  Principal Guerra has a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Wesleyan University and a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University. She finished her Doctorate Degree from Tarleton State University.

Principal Guerra has made education a family affair. Her husband and two older sons all work in FWISD.
