Michel has lived in Little Elm since October 2005, with her husband of over 25 years, Kevin. They have one daughter, McKaylah. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and has been a small business owner in Little Elm since 2015.

She has always been involved in her community through various organizations and considers it an honor and privilege to be of service to others.

She has served on many boards over the years, which include: President of the Little Elm Friends of the Library; President of St. Arbor Community Development Inc.; Vice-President of the Little Elm Economic Development Corporation; President-Elect of the Little Elm Chamber of Commerce and Board Member of the Little Elm Rotary Club.

Councilwoman Hambrick has been a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc for the last 33, which first introduced her to her love of serving.
