Mr. Threet, Counsel for Haynes & Boone, LLP, is in his third term on the SISD Board of Trustees. He has served on school board committees exploring drug testing policy, high school graduation requirements, and campus and district ratings, and volunteers his legal expertise on new board policies and procedures. He served on the strategic planning committee to study long-term district needs that resulted in the creation of Sunnyvale High School. Mr. Threet supplements his board education with attendance at both TASB state and NSBA national conventions.

Mr. Threet is a lifetime charter member of the Raider Pride Booster Club, a Sunnyvale Education Foundation Board Member, and a member of the PTA. He is an active member of his church and is an ordained Deacon.
