Mayor Pro Tem Aldredge is a sixth generation Texan, a graduate of Highland Park High School and a lifelong resident of the Park Cities. Mark received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor in Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering. He is the CEO of Aldredge Company, an acquisition firm. Prior to his election, Mr. Aldredge served on the Board of Adjustments and the Planning and Zoning Commission. His other civic involvement includes leadership positions with the Salesmanship Club of Dallas. He and his wife, Laurie, have two married sons and four grandchildren who all live in Dallas.
