Ms. Garcia’s entire career as an educator has been in GPISD where she has been for more than 15 years. She has been the principal at David Crockett Early Education School, a Dual Language Strategist at the district level, an assistant principal at Crockett EES and Hobbs Williams Elementary, a 3rd grade teacher at Bonham Elementary, and a 3rd grade teacher at Eisenhower Elementary.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and her master’s degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Texas at Arlington.

She is passionate about working with children and mentoring teachers, and she is happiest in this role. In her spare time, she likes to travel, read, and visit her family in Oklahoma.
