Lucero C. Andazola-Acosta proudly serves as the principal of Casa View Elementary. A first-generation immigrant and the first in her family to earn a master’s degree, Mrs. Andazola brings a deep commitment to educational equity and community empowerment.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Administration and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey, as well as a Master’s degree in Urban Educational Leadership from Southern Methodist University (SMU).
Mrs. Andazola has been a part of Dallas ISD for over 16 years. In 2008, she began her career as a bilingual teacher at Runyon Elementary then transitioned to George H. W. Bush Elementary, teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. In 2014, she earned the Distinguished Teacher designation (DTR) for her excellence in instruction and student outcomes.
From 2017 to 2021, Mrs. Andazola served as Assistant Principal at Larry G. Smith Elementary, where she supported instructional leadership, staff development, and student success. She currently serves as the proud Principal of Casa View Elementary, leading with a strong commitment to equity, academic excellence, and meaningful family and community engagement.
