It is with immense pride and enthusiasm that I serve as the principal of Shugart Elementary School. I am deeply committed to our school community’s mission of nurturing our children in a high-quality learning environment.

My journey in education began in my home country of Colombia, and I have been an educator since 1998. I find immense joy in being a principal, as it allows me to empower teachers as leaders while staying closely connected to the incredible learning and growth happening in our classrooms every day. I firmly believe that every child has the potential to excel, and that a strong partnership between home and school is essential in building the confidence students need to shape their own futures.
