I’m Lacy Starnes, and it’s the deep privilege of my career to serve as Principal of a school where students are known, believed in, and challenged to become their best. The reputation for excellence that defines our past still shapes our present—not as pressure, but as a promise. We carry it forward with pride, knowing that what we do now echoes in who our students become next.

At Kimbrough Middle School, we believe education is far more than an exchange of effort for achievement—it’s the work of transformation. We teach with the long view in mind, knowing that what happens in our classrooms can shape who students become far beyond middle school. Through our UIL award-winning Fine Arts programs, high-performing athletic teams, and a wide variety of clubs and organizations, we create space for every student to discover their strengths, find their voice, and feel connected to something meaningful.
