Bio

Councilmember Ken CookKen Cook has been an involved member of the community since moving to Allen in 2012. He believes that every resident’s opinion matters and deserves to be considered equally. Cook attributes Allen’s charm as a home and destination to its community, parks and amenities.

Cook served on the City of Allen’s Planning & Zoning Commission (2021-2024) and was a member of the 2023 Allen General Obligation Bond Committee. Additionally, he graduated from the Allen Fairview Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Allen course in 2023 and the Allen ISD Leadership Class in 2024.

Cook has over 25 years of experience working in healthcare treating vascular disease.
