Councilmember Pickens has her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services. She has resided in Corinth since 2000 and will continue to call Corinth home for many years to come. Mrs. Pickens is invested in Corinth, and she wants to be a part of a thriving city.

Along with her current service as a City Council Member, Mrs. Pickens serves as a board member of the Crime Control and Prevention District, the Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Services District, and the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 3 (TIRZ No. 3). She also serves on the North Central Texas Council of Government’s Criminal Justice Policy Committee (NCTCOG).
