Kelleyton J. Wilson, Sr. currently serves a Capital Markets Account Executive at Microsoft. He works with Hedge Funds, Institutional Investors, and Private Equity firms globally. He previously spent 4 ½ years as a Manager at Alvarez & Marsal Financial Industry Advisory Services (FIAS). While he specializes in Financial Services, Kelleyton worked in a complementary manner with each of the FIAS business verticals, but his primary areas of concentration were Mortgage Banking and Retail Credit Services. Additionally, Kelleyton brings a tremendous amount of expertise working collaboratively across Strategy, Risk & Advisory, Private Equity and Performance Improvement business verticals.
Over the course of his tenure at A&M, Kelleyton was responsible for performing buy-side due diligence and providing analysis for a top tier private equity firm seeking to acquire four independently operated mortgage entities. He has also been engaged in various regulatory compliance remediation activities within multiple financial institutions.
With more than 20 years of Banking and Financial Services experience, Kelleyton’s extensive hands on experience spans multiple corporate and consumer sectors including Securities, Insurance, and Banking. Prior to joining A&M, Kelleyton shouldered the position of Sr. Manager for Experis Consulting with a focus on financial services and mortgage banking. As a Senior Manager, Kelleyton was an integral part of a team which facilitated the transition of a fortune 100 company from Victoria British Columbia, Canada to Lithuania. He also led successful engagements for three of the top five mortgage servicers in the United States with scopes ranging from ISO certification process reengineering, to policy and procedure development, to regulatory compliance remediation.
Additionally, Kelleyton served as the Financial Manager for Beal Bank and was responsible for leading their Finance & Strategy team concentrating on the operational analytics, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), the bank’s real estate portfolio, and CMO’s. Under his guidance, the Finance & Strategy team performed extensive due diligence and analysis utilized to facilitate the acquisition of banks that were under FDIC receivership. Kelleyton’s team was also responsible for the realignment of all cost centers and the preparation of the operating budget for submission to the Board of Directors.
Kelleyton holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts & Sciences with concentrations in Applied Economics and Finance from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and a Master’s Degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Kelleyton is married to his college sweetheart, Tamara. Together they have two amazing children; their son Kelleyton, Jr. (KJ) and their princess Kennedy.
