Jon Kixmiller was elected to Place 2 on the City Council in May of 2018. Prior to his election, Jon served on the Bartonville Town Council, Board of the American Red Cross and involved with his Highland Village HOA. He was also involved in numerous industry trade associations.

Jon and his wife Deborah and their two children, Ben and Elizabeth, moved to Highland Village in 1986. Work required moving away in 1990. In 2012, Jon and Deb returned to Highland Village for retirement. They are fortunate to have their family close with Ben, his wife Alex and their grandson living next to them and their daughter just two miles away.

At Southern Illinois University, Jon earned a BS in Marketing and an MBA in Management. His career was in the computer industry with 35 years at IBM, Digital Equipment Corp. and Radisys. Positions held were from Sales Executive to Vice President of Sales when he retired in 2016.
