Jennifer Garcia has dedicated 13 years to the field of education. She began her career as a High School English Teacher in El Paso, TX, where she taught for six years. Following this, she became an Assistant Principal in Ysleta ISD. Over the past five years, she has served in Garland ISD, including three years as the Assistant Principal of South Garland High School, and now continues her journey as the Principal of O’Banion Middle School.
Mrs. Garcia’s passion for education led her to earn a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Texas at El Paso and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from West Texas A&M. She is committed to fostering a love for learning and teaching, always prioritizing what is best for students. As a servant leader, she is dedicated to creating a nurturing and impactful educational environment where student success is the top priority.
Supported by her loving husband of 28 years, Mrs. Garcia is the proud mother of three wonderful children: Randee, Sonny, and Sean. She also cherishes her role as a grandmother to her beautiful granddaughter, Oaklynn. Mrs. Garcia is grateful for the opportunity to continue making a difference in the lives of young learners.
