Mr. Jason Olson was elected to the School Board in May 2015. In addition to being a Trustee, Mr. Olson also serves as a member of the Little Elm Economic Development Corporation (2010 to current, past President from 2010 – 2016) and President of his homeowners association (4 terms). Mr. Olson has also served as President for the Little Elm High School Athletic Executive Booster Club (6 years), President of the Little Elm Board of Adjustments (2 years), member of the Little Elm Planning and Zoning committee and a baseball coach in the Little Elm Area Youth Sports Association (LEAYSA). Mr. Olson has a Master’s degree from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in Recreation and Leisure Studies. Mr. Olson and his wife have resided in Little Elm since 2004. They have one daughter who graduated from LEISD (graduated from the University of North Texas) and one son who attends LEISD. Mr. Olson is currently employed by AT&T as a Sales Manager in the Global Business Solutions Group.
