I am deeply honored and privileged to be a part of the esteemed Pearson community, renowned for its unwavering commitment to excellence and, more importantly, to the holistic development of our students. I am wholeheartedly dedicated to upholding this tradition of care and providing a nurturing learning environment for all our staff and learners.

With 25 years of experience in the field of education, I have served in various roles including teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and principal. My journey has led me to both high school and elementary leadership positions within Dallas ISD, where I have served as a principal for 5 years. However, my true passion lies in the formative years of elementary education, where I have found the most fulfillment as an elementary teacher, counselor, and principal. I am thrilled to continue this chapter as the leader of the Pearson Ponies.

Central to my educational philosophy is the unwavering belief that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. As a staunch advocate for children, I am committed to fostering a school environment where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed not only within our school community but also in the broader world.

I am immensely proud to be a part of the Pearson Community and am dedicated to building upon the existing strengths of Pearson Elementary.

On a personal note, I am a mother to a 23-year-old son named DJ, who is currently pursuing a career in education at Dallas College. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, attending sporting events, reading, watching movies, and cherishing moments with my family and friends.

I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be a member of this exceptional school community.  I am eager to meet each of you, collaborate with you, and work together towards our shared goal of providing the best possible educational experience for our students.
