“Chief Manoushagian is an 21-year law enforcement veteran who leads the men and women of the Lake Worth Police Department. Throughout his career, Chief Manoushagian has served in a variety of assignments to include K-9, criminal interdiction, DWI enforcement, administration and patrol. He is a master peace officer, former Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) and a current TCOLE instructor. Chief Manoushagian has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Texas Christian University. Additionally, he holds a graduate certificate in Leadership, Executive and Administrative Development (LEAD) from Texas Christian University as well as a graduate certificate in Criminal Justice Education from the University of Virginia. Chief Manoushagian is a graduate of the FBI National Academy (Session 283) and the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas’ Leadership Command College (LCC).
Chief Manoushagian is a United States Navy veteran, serving in both the enlisted and officer ranks (E-1 through O-3). In additional to his service to the Lake Worth community, Chief Manoushagian also serves on the Board of Directors for Alliance for Children, a child advocacy center serving the greater Tarrant area.
