Mayor Pro Tem Gregg Custer was sworn into his first Council term in the November 2020 election. Mr. Custer and his wife Julie have lived in Fairview for 16 years. He is a retired United States Air Force Colonel with 31 years of military service. Following retirement from the USAF Councilmember Custer served as a Senior Manager for Perot Systems and Dell Technologies. He has held positions of leadership in Fairview including; Chairman of the town Planning and Zoning Commission, Chairman of the town Zoning Board of Adjustments, President of the Fairview Rotary Club, and President of the Sloan Creek Estates Home Owners Association. The Custers have two children and two grandchildren and are members of Stonebriar Community Church.
