My educational journey began at W.T. White High School. I am a proud Longhorn and second-generation Dallas ISD teacher. My journey took me to the University of Texas at Dallas where I graduated with my Bachelor of History Degree.
My teaching journey started at W.W. Samuell High School. I enjoyed teaching Social Studies and coaching baseball. My proudest moment as a teacher was watching my first group of students graduate and receive their diploma. My proudest moment as a coach was defeating a division rival 6-5 and knocking them out of the playoffs.
In 2013 I was accepted into the SMU Teaching Trust Program. Sadly, I had to leave W.W. Samuell in 2014 to pursue an Assistant Principal position at Seagoville HS. In 2016 I was selected to be the Assistant Principal for the 1st P-TECH Early College high school in the state of Texas. Over 5 years I was able to assist over 100 1st generation college going students graduate with their Associates of Applied Science Degree.
My journey took me away from Dallas ISD in 2021. I am proud to return to Dallas ISD, and more importantly I am super proud to return home to W.W. Samuell High School.
GO SPARTANS!
