I have proudly served in Garland ISD for the past 15 of her 17 years in education.  I began the first two years of my career in Aldine ISD in Houston, Texas, teaching third grade.  Throughout my career in Garland ISD, I have served as a teacher at Williams Elementary, an interventionist at Sewell Elementary, an assistant principal at Bradfield Elementary and Montclair Elementary, and most recently, principal of Montclair Elementary.

My time as a campus leader has solidified my passion for supporting student success and building a culture of collaboration and excellence.  My passion is to ensure that students of all backgrounds and abilities receive the appropriate support to enrich their education and meet their personal learning goals.

As a proud wife, mom of twin boys, and dog mom, you will most likely find me spending time outside of school on the football or soccer sidelines as an enthusiastic encourager, reading, or enjoying time outside gardening.

I am excited to use the skills I have developed throughout my career to build successful partnerships with Rowlett Elementary families, staff, and community.
