Bio

Ms. Hornsby was elected to the Board in May of 2015. A former Mesquite ISD principal, Ms. Hornsby’s career in education spanned 38 years. She retired from Mesquite ISD in 2011. A graduate of Mesquite High School, Ms. Hornsby earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and her master’s degree from Texas A&M-Commerce.
