David Rodriguez, earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL). Before moving to Texas, he worked with major multinational corporations, including American Express and Boehringer Ingelheim. In 2017, he graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU) with a Master’s in Urban Educational Leadership through the Teaching Trust’s Aspiring Leadership Program.

Mr. Rodriguez began his career in education in 2006 with Dallas ISD, spending nine years as a bilingual teacher at Urban Park Elementary and Cigarroa Elementary, where he was honored as Teacher of the Year at both campuses. In 2015, he was promoted to Reading Instructional Coach, and after completing his Master’s, he joined ACE at CF Carr Elementary as an Assistant Principal.

In 2022, Mr. Rodriguez completed the Principal Residency Program and proudly transitioned to serve as the Principal of David G. Burnet Elementary, the vibrant Home of the All-Stars, in Northwest Dallas.
