Ms. Aguilar, a passionate educator and devoted servant leader, was raised in Grand Prairie. Her educational journey began at Austin where she attended elementary school. She also attended Adams Middle School and graduated from Grand Prairie High School. Ms. Aguilar earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas Dallas Campus and a master’s in educational leadership from Dallas Baptist University.

Over the course of 14 years, she has dedicated herself to enriching the lives of students and families. Throughout her career, Ms. Aguilar has had the privilege of teaching students in bilingual education across various grade levels, including 1st, 4th, and 5th grade. Most recently, Ms. Aguilar served as an Assistant Principal at Austin ESA for four years, further expanding her impact and influence. With a deep sense of pride in her community, Ms. Aguilar continues to serve Grand Prairie, her beloved hometown.
