Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! It is with great honor and excitement that I introduce

myself as the newly appointed principal of High Pointe Elementary School. I look forward to

continuing the great things that are taking place at HPE and it is my desire that together we

create opportunities for all students to learn at optimal levels and reach their fullest potential.

My professional background is rooted in serving the field of education for 22 years. Within these

years, I have served in the capacity of a teacher, school counselor, assistant principal, and

associate principal. Additional to my professional achievements is the greatest accomplishment

of my family. I have been married for 19 years and, together, my husband and I have three

children.

Again, it is my pleasure to work with the Longhorn community where my values complement

Cedar Hill ISD’s leadership characteristics to Lead with Heart, Empower Others, and Expect

Excellence. I am confident that our partnership will lead to collective success and together we

can achieve Unlocking Every Longhorn’s Potential!
