I’m excited to be a part of such an outstanding school and to have the opportunity to serve the students, parents, and school community of Akin. It is such an honor to be a part of Wylie ISD. Before joining Wylie, I worked in Plano ISD for 23 years where I served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal. Prior to this I served our great country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. My training in education began at Texas A&M (Whoop!) where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I later went on to earn a Master of Education in Education Administration from the University of North Texas. When I am not working hard for and with your children, I am playing hard with my children (Caleb, Justine, and Hannah) and my beautiful bride (Jamie). We prefer spending time outdoors, but it doesn’t matter what we do as long as we are together. I count it a privilege to serve the Akin Family and look forward to an outstanding school year.
