Chealsie Sanchez is a native of Dallas, Texas, who attended high school in Red Oak, TX. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she earned a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication. She has also earned a Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from UT-Arlington. Mrs. Sánchez has taught at the elementary and middle school level and has also worked as a Digital Learning Coordinator delivering engaging professional development for teachers and administrators. She has served as the assistant principal at Trinidad Garza ECHS for the past 6 years.

Mrs. Sánchez is a mom to three boys- Micah, Robert, and Ezra. She enjoys spending time with her family, eating great barbeque, and painting portraits for local art shows.

Mrs. Sánchez is honored to become the next principal of Trinidad Garza Early College High School and to continue the tradition of excellence established at Garza ECHS. She looks forward to serving the students, staff, and community and leading Garza ECHS to the next level of academic excellence.
