Mrs. Arriaga is entering her 14th year in education, all of which has been in Grand Prairie ISD. She began her career at Fannin Middle School as a 7th grade science teacher. After six years at Fannin, she continued to Garner Fine Arts Academy and then to De Zavala Environmental Science Academy. At De Zavala, she has served as an Administrative Intern and Assistant Principal.

Mrs. Arriaga earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and Master of Educational Leadership degree from Texas Tech University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University.

Mrs. Arriaga is a proud mother of three, all enrolled in Grand Prairie ISD. She is honored and excited to continue to serve the students, staff, and community at De Zavala.
