Carl Clemencich has a long history of volunteering in the Allen community. He appreciates Allen’s community spirit and believes its parks, schools and city facilities make it a wonderful place to live, work and play.
Clemencich was appointed to the Allen Community Development Board in 1996, followed by the Allen Parks and Recreation Board (2000-2004) and Allen Economic Development Board (2004-2012). From 2012 to 2017, he served on the Allen Independent School District Board as a Trustee. In 2017 Clemencich was elected to Allen City Council, Place 2.
In addition to his service on city and school boards, Clemencich volunteers with the Allen Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT), Allen Police Department Citizens on Patrol and serves as a board member for the Allen Public Safety Recovery Fund. He has also participated in the Allen Citizens Fire Academy, Citizens Police Academy and Collin County Sheriff’s Office Citizen Academy.
Clemencich is a certified public accountant (CPA) with over 30 years’ experience in finance and corporate accounting. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in accounting and an M.B.A. in corporate finance. He has been married more than 40 years and has five children and 10 grandchildren. He attends St. Jude Catholic Church.
