Cameron Reeves was elected in May 2024 to the Prosper Town Council, Place 6. Cameron brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted connection to Prosper. With him and his family settling in Prosper over four decades ago, Cameron witnessed the Town’s evolution from its agricultural roots to the vibrant community that it is today. Having graduated from Prosper High School during its earlier days and later earning his BBA from Texas Christian University, Cameron returned to Prosper to embark on a distinguished career in the life insurance and financial services business, serving as an advisor with New York Life for the past 22 years serving North Texas.
Community service is ingrained in Cameron’s values, demonstrated by his involvement on various boards and committees including the Parks and Recreation Board, the Town Charter Review Committee, the ManeGait Board, the Planning and Zoning Commission, and his current role on the Prosper Education Foundation.
Outside of his civic duties, Cameron finds joy in spending time with his wife Lauren, and their beloved Maltese dog, Jack. An avid golfer and outdoorsman, Cameron also shares a passion for travel and exploring new destinations. With his blend of experience, dedication, and love for Prosper, Cameron Reeves is committed to excellence.
